Ribbon Twist Table Runner
This uses minimal fabric usage. I will be sending pre-class instructions for fabric cutting so we can begin sewing in class.
Choose your own fabrics but fabrics that contrast work best. A focus fabric (pine cones) is needed about 1/2 yard; the twist fabric 1/4 yard (red in picture) and a background 1/4 yard and your choice of border and binding fabric to coordinate and tie the runner together about 1/2 yard.
Depending upon time and participants abilities, we may be able to complete the runner top, so bring along a piece of batting 20" x 50" and a backing fabric about the same size. We may or may not get to this part but bring it along anyway.
