Instructor: Michele Blomgren
Instructor Bio: Michele says her love of sewing is in her DNA. She grew up watching both her grandmother’s and her mother sew. As a young girl her favorite type of sewing was counted cross stitch making ornaments for the Christmas tree. One weekend when she came home from college, she saw her mother’s new sewing and embroidery machine and the infatuation with machine embroidery started. Michele and her mother operated their own home base embroidery business for several years. They embroidered items for the local baseball teams, cheer leading squads, preschool programs and many individuals. Shortly after closing their embroidery business, Michele went to work for a multi-location machine dealer where she discovered her passion for teaching sewing and embroidery. When Michele was offered the opportunity to travel and share Michele grew up, married, and raised four children in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. She still resides in the suburbs where she enjoys spending time with her family, in her sewing studio, and gardening.
