Sample quilt is made up of 8 different 1/2 yard cuts of fabric and an additional 1 yard cut of the contrasting fabric.

Contrast 1/2 yard (not including binding)
It is possible to make this quilt with multiple different cuts of fabrics or 3 different fabrics. The contrasting fabric you pick should be a strong contrast to your other fabrics. I'm using all black and white fabrics with my contrast fabric being red. If a smaller quilt is desired I suggest that you start with 1/4 yard cuts for your main and background fabrics.
